Fall 2026 Youth Cross Country
The Columbia Track Club Colts Youth Cross Country program provides a fun, community-focused running experience for youth athletes throughout the fall season as part of the Central Missouri Athletic Circuit (CMAC).
Open to children ages 6–14 (birth years 2012–2020).
A $20 Columbia Track Club family membership covers participation fees for the season.

About the Program
The CTC Colts program focuses on:
Developing a love for running
Teamwork and sportsmanship
Age-appropriate endurance and fitness
Community participation
Preparing young athletes for future middle school and high school running opportunities
Athletes of all ability levels are welcome.
Students participating in middle school cross country may join after their school season concludes.
Practice Information
Practice Schedule
(starting August 27th | ending October 22nd)
Mondays & Thursdays: 5:15–6:00 PM
Saturdays (early season only): 10:00–10:45 AM

Upper parking lot near the sled hill
Cosmo Park
Near Antimi Shelter by the skate park

CMAC All-Stars
Runners from all CMAC programs may have the opportunity to participate in the CMAC All-Stars postseason program.
Traditionally, athletes compete in regional qualifying meets, with qualifying runners advancing to the Cross Country Coaches National Youth Championships.
Additional fees may apply for postseason participation.
Uniform Information
The Columbia Track Club provides team singlets for meets.
Athletes should provide the following:
Black or blue running shorts
Running shoes appropriate for grass and trail surfaces
Water bottle for practices and meets
