2017 Great Sandbagger 10k Overall Finish List August 5, 2017 Columbia Track Club | ||||||||

It was a beautiful morning for a race with the temperature in the upper 50s at the 7 a.m. start. We had 19 total runners this year for this annual predicted-time, staggered-start race.
George Szabo took home the storied traveling Great Sandbagger trophy by crossing the finish line first. George predicted he would finish the race in 60 minutes, but was ahead of the pace by 5:41 finishing with a time of 54:19. Ryan Hauser had the fastest actual time at 37:32. The fastest female was Katie Hauser at 40:17. Thanks to Thom Allen, Randy Gay, Nancy Rezabek, Peggy Horner, James Harrington, and Matt Robe for assisting with the race.
