Thanks to race sponsors Pro-Velo Cycle Sport, Miller Lite,
Thanks, too, to race volunteers
This was our fourth and biggest fall duathlon. The threatening weather backed off half an hour before the race and although the road was damp for the first half of the race, it posed no major problems.
On a personal note, this was my best time and worst place. I hope to see this trend continue for several years to come.
Our spring into summer duathlon will be the second Saturday

Any suggestions for improvements—a couple weeks later? Distances? Award categories too confusing?
Final question—Exactly what direction was the wind blowing during the cycling leg?
