2008 Heart for Africa 5k Overall Finish List September 13, 2008 Long Run Lunatics / Columbia Track Club | ||||||
| The rain stayed away, but the heat and humidity were ever-present for the running of the 2nd Annual Heart for Africa 5K. This year, we ran the route in reverse from the way it was run last year. Most of the runners who ran it both years seemed to think that the course was slightly easier going this direction. Matt Dreier was the first finisher crossing the finish line in a time of 17:58.8. Amanda Dunne took top female honors just 9 seconds later in a time of 18:09.9. Congratulations to all finishers!
