Age: 79

PERSONAL RECORDS:
Three miles 22:22
Two Miles 14:38
Mile 6:42

Walking:
I can't find my walking record sheets and book. So I shall have to guess. Probably the CTC's own records would verify or deny my figures.
100 mile: best time 21:18, next best about 23:35
50 mile: best time about 11:20
one hour: probably about 6 miles, and a few yards

WEEKLY MILEAGE: I don't train anymore. I walk about 15-20 miles a week.

When Did You Start Walking? About 1971

Who Is Your Walking Role Model? Who Has Influenced You Most In Walking? There were lots of Masters walkers. Maybe Larry O'Neil.

Favorite Training Route: home to campus to downtown and back

Personal Info and Interests: I got drawn into race walking when the 100- mile was inaugurated (gave up cycling). My goals have always been endurance, not speed, hence I've not done much with 5k, 10k, and 20k races.
