Who Is Your Running Role Model? Who Has Influenced You Most In Running? Originally my high school coach, Franklyn Pfeil, inspired me. Then in college I had the privilege of training and racing for four years with a group of tremendously hard working teammates. In addition, I am a big fan of the legacy left by the late Steve Prefontaine of Oregon.

What Is Your Favorite Workout? 5 x 1000 meters with 600 meters recovery on an all-weather track; 3 x 1 mile with 800 meters recovery; Multiple laps on the Rock Bridge State Park Grasslands 2 mile loop, running each lap progressively faster

Personal Info and Interests: Married July 2000 to Paige Marshall; Currently teaching Biology and coaching Cross Country at Rock Bridge Senior High; Completing Ph.D. in Health & Exercise Science at the University of Missouri (Sport Psychology)
