I am 12 years old, and I was born on Valentines Day of 1995. (Febrary 14, 1995)

How long have you been running? I started running at the Wednesday night fun runs at age four.

Who have been some of your running influences? Steve Prefontaine is a very big influence to me. Also, my older brother Jimmy Keown. He is a runner at UMKC. Another influence is my brother Ben, who is currently running for Rock Bridge's Varsity team. Also, my first and present coach, Dr. Hessler. He has been a great coach and I couldn't have hade it here without him or any other of my running influences.

What is your weekly mileage? That depends. If I am trying to get in shape for season, about 10-20 miles a week. Then if I am training while school is in session, about as much as I can. Although we do have three practices a week, so that helps out a lot.

What are your favorite workouts? My favorite workouts are the "Indian run", and 800m repeats.

What are your favorite places to run? Well, since I can't drive myself to Rock Bridge State Park, I usually run somewhere near my house.

What are your running accomplishments? Some of my accomplishments include getting first in the 800m at the Show-Me State Games. I also broke my age group's State Record in Show-Me State Cross Country 5K, and winning first in my age group. I also was a member of the relay team that broke the Columbia Catholic School 4x200m relay (thanks to my teammates Bret Weise, Chas Barbee, and Jeffrey King).

What are some of your goals? I hope to make Varsity my Freshman year at Rock Bridge. Also, I hope to go on to college and run track and Cross Country for them.

Any personal information? I love my dog, Hershey. She is a Chocolate Lab. Also, I enjoy playing baseball and watching running races.
